Three
different models of timer are available. Please
see the specifications for more details of the precise functions available with
each timer. |

and read the instructions for our timers. |

C420 cable
timer.
Simple to use, this timer operates with cabled gates. A wire-free
adapter is also available. It is powered by an external 12 volt battery or a
mains supply using an optional adapter. This timer does NOT have the
warm-up/countdown timer that is required for some competitions, nor will it
time two-phase competitions.
|
 |
C700 intermediate
timer.
This
wire-free timer is designed for Show Jumping. It has a 45 second countdown
timer and can time two-phase competitions. It is
powered by an internal rechargeable battery or can be connected to an external
12 volt battery, or a mains supply using the adapter provided. |
 |
C840 professional
timer.
This is a state of the art timer
providing a wide range of advanced features, including countdown timer,
two-phase timing, results calculation and electronic bell (see specification
sheet for more details). It is powered by an
internal rechargeable battery or can be connected to an external 12 volt
battery or a mains supply using the adapter provided.

Gates. Infra-red heads and reflectors ('gates') are used
at the start and finish lines to automatically start and stop the
timer. Timing sets are normally supplied with two
gates for start and finish (that is, 2 heads, 2 reflectors and 4 tripods),
although one gate may be used for both start and finish. The infra-red system has the advantage of being very easy to use
and the design of the optical system makes our eg heads
particularly easy to set up. Two types of head are
available, those that are connected to the timer by cable and 'wire-free' heads
that use radio to send the start/finish signal to the timer.
K530 cable
gate.
These heads connect to the timer by 3 core cable, which may be up
to 500 metres in length. The heads are powered
from the timer - no other power is required. The
K530 has a maximum distance of 20 metres between head and reflector.
|
 |
K531 wire-free
gate.
This head uses a radio transmitter
instead of a cable to connect to the timer. There are no cables to lay so
changing the course is much simpler! There are two
channels, enabling two rings to be used side by side. The head is powered by internal rechargeable batteries which give
24 hours continuous use between charges. The range
of the radio signal is 200 metres (line of sight). The maximum distance between
head and reflector is 30 metres. The heads can also be connected to the timer
by cable if required.
Legal for use in Europe without a site licence.

timer to improve coverage. All displays are
powered either by external 12 volt battery or mains adapter.

K30 Marathon timer / Clock. Can be used to show marathon
timing, the time of day, or countdown timing on a normal public display. It is
powered from the display but contains a rechargeable battery to retain
timekeeping when it is not connected. When switched to marathon mode it will
time in seconds up to 9 hours. There are start, stop and zero buttons, and it
is possible to set the time in order to synchronise with other clocks. When
switched to clock mode you can select 12 or 24 hour display. You can also
select whether to shuttle between time and temperature or display the time
continuously.
K60
Remote Start/Stop/Bell buttons (for C800 series timers only).
D60
Remote Start/Stop/Bell buttons with lcd display (for C800 series timers only).
Video overlay generator. This
unit enables timing and faults, together with a sponsor's message, to be
inserted into a television picture for broadcast, closed-circuit relay or video
recording. The equipment consists of an interface for connecting the timer to a
computer, an overlay generator for connecting a computer with the video signal,
and the operating software. A PC computer is also required - this is not
supplied. The computer keyboard is used for editing the sponsor's name (max 25
letters) which then appears when the timer stops, and remains on screen until
the timer is zeroed. The keyboard is also used to enter the faults. The
positions on the screen of the time, faults and message can all be
independently changed. The size and font of the characters is fixed and cannot
be altered. |
